Co-founder and CTO of Agrofelis, is a senior data scientist and full-stack engineer with over 20 years of hands-on experience delivering advanced machine learning pipelines, secure infrastructures, and data-driven solutions for major EU organizations like 
EUROFOUND, and ECDC. At Agrofelis, he spearheads the development of our award-winning autonomous agricultural robot, integrating cutting-edge AI, machine vision, edge computing, and IoT to revolutionize precision farming and reduce chemical usage by up to 95%. His passion for open-source innovation and real-world impact has earned Agrofelis recognition in global competitions, positioning us at the forefront of sustainable agrotech.
Hercules Metaxas
Co-founder of Agrofelis, he leads product management and business planning. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Indianapolis. Starting his career in renewable energy and then real estate consulting, he transitioned to agricultural investments, including agrotourism, biomass projects, and orchard installations, while gaining hands-on experience in orchard management for oranges and olives. His strategic insights drive Agrofelis' machinery specifications, product design, and fundraising, ensuring our technology delivers tangible ROI, labor savings, and alignment with EU sustainability goals for farmers.
Anastasios Pliatsikas
Co-founder and data scientist at Agrofelis, holds a master's in Business Analytics and a bachelor's in Statistics from Athens University of Economics and Business, where he graduated at the top of his classes. Named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece list in 2025, he brings three years of specialized experience in data analysis, visualization, and business planning, leveraging tools like R, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms to optimize operations. At Agrofelis, Anastasios helps with business planning and harnesses data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency, and support our mission of empowering farmers with intelligent, sustainable tools.
Vaios Panagiotou
Mechanical engineer at Agrofelis, holds a master's in Automotive Product Engineering from Cranfield University and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brighton, UK. With over 20 years of expertise in robotics engineering and prototype development, including leading the design of massive 10-ton animatronic dinosaurs for a Beijing amusement park that earned 8 Guinness World Records, he ensures our agricultural robots are rugged, reliable, and optimized for challenging terrains. His global engineering achievements bring unparalleled precision and durability to Agrofelis, advancing our goal of transforming farm productivity worldwide.

Agronomist at Agrofelis, is a highly specialized plant nutrition expert with a degree from the Biotechnology Sector of the Agricultural University of Athens and a demonstrated history in the fertilizer industry. Skilled in fertilizer sales as well as advanced fertilizer formulation techniques, he drives research and innovation in sustainable crop management. At Agrofelis, John leverages his expertise to refine our precision spraying systems, optimizing nutrient delivery, minimizing environmental impact, and enhancing yield efficiency for orchards and vineyards, aligning perfectly with our commitment to eco-friendly, high-performance agrotech.
